JAMMU, Aug 6: Entire area of Panjbakhtar Road, Mohalla Darugiran, Partap Garh, Residency Road and Kanak Mandi was drenched in patriotic spirit to mark the completion of one year of abrogation of Article 370 and was jubilant over foundation stone laying ceremony of Ram Temple at Ayodhya, with people of about 200 homes on both sides of the main street connecting Residency Road with Kanak Mandi hoisting tricolours on their rooftops, lighting lamps in their balconies and reciting bhajans besides offering prayers at a Pandal erected to mark Ram Janm Bhoomi Poojan last evening. A first-of-its-kind programme was organised by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K Executive Member Raman Suri, which was prominently attended by Ashok Koul General Secretary (Org.) BJP J&K, Jugal Kishore Sharma MP, Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor JMC, Purnima Sharma Deputy Mayor JMC, Yudhveer Sethi Vice President BJP J&K, Rajesh Gupta Working President VHP J&K and Ladakh, Vivekanand General Secretary (Org.) VHP J&K and Ladakh, Mahant Rajesh Bittu Chairman Radha Madhav Trust, Parveen Kerni BJP East Mandal President, Vageesh Bharti BJP District Spokesperson, Vipan Sharma Gen. Sec. BJP East Mandal, Sanjay Mahey Senior BJP Leader, and Young Team of Tourism Federation of Jammu Tapan Dubey & Gaurav Gupta. The programme was also attended by residents of the entire area.
