GCW Gandhi Nagar organizes e-farewell for outgoing students

Jammu, Aug 8: In view of the present day circumstances, created by COVID-19 all across India and world, the Presidium members along with the intermediate semester students gave e-farewell to bid adieu to the seniors under the theme of Streedum-2020. In relation to this, 'Miss GCW Gandhi Nagar Contest' was held and the winner was chosen purely on the basis of talent by Jury members Dr. Prof. Surjit Kour Raina, Prof. Nirlape Kour and Dr. Revika Arora. Miss Japneet Kour was awarded with the title of Miss GCW Gandhi Nagar, Miss Priya Sharma was announced as Miss Diva and Miss Sukriti Khajuria was announced as Miss Personality. Dr. Sangita Nagari (Principal, GCW Gandhi Nagar) and Prof. Nirlape Kour (Staff Secretary) motivated the students with their golden words. The idea of E- Farewell was completely drafted and conceptualised by the organising committee which consisted of Miss Ivanka Raman (Vice President); Miss Shalinl Rasgotra (Joint Secretary); Miss Abhinoor Kour (Senior Treasurer); Miss Manya Jain (Senior Volunteer) and was supervised by Dr. Prof. Surjit Kour Raina (Cultural Convener & Dean of Arts). At last, a vote of thanks was given by Ivanka Raman, In which she warm heartedly thanked Dr. Sangita Nagari (Principal, GCW Gandhi Nagar), Dr. Prof. Surjit Kour Raina (Cultural Convener & Dean of Arts), Prof. Mamta Gupta (Dean of Commerce), Prof. Kamlcsh Salathia (Dean of Sciences), Jury members - Dr. Prof. Surjit Kour Raina, Prof. Nirlape Kour, Dr. Revika Arora and the Organising Committee.
