JAMMU, Aug 11: Condemning the targetting killings in Kashmir by militants, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K Executive Member, Raman Suri, today said that such cowardice acts speak of frustration on the part of anti-national elements, who are seeing writing on the wall that a new era of peace, prosperity and accountability has begun in the Union Territory (UT) of Jammu and Kashmir and people are also getting acclimatized to the perceptible change. Raman Suri said BJP leaders and workers have made their presence felt in entire Jammu and Kashmir by their good deeds and are also ensuring implementation of people-oriented polices and schemes without any pilferage. Such acts, he added, are causing an insecurity to the anti-national and anti-social elements due to which they are now resorting to scaring party workers by their such acts of shooting or killing party workers. Raman Suri asserted that BJP is committed to give people a clean, accountable and most transparent government both at the state as well as Centre and such acts won't cow down party or its workers who are working tirelessly to involve people in political process and making sure that a new dawn descends on the UT of J&K. While the Union Government and Security Agencies, as per their jurisdictions, are extending all relevant laws to J&K, cleansing the system of corrupt, nailing anti-nationals, killing militants, ensuring an order of governance, winning hearts of people and ensuring them safety and security in their own ways, ultras are getting more frustrated by seeing their cadres fall to bullets of our valiant soldiers. Recent UPSC results, recruitment drives, innovative ideas to work in pandemic and establish companies across India, all these speak of interest of the people of UT, especially Kashmir, to make a fortune and contribute in nation building in a positive manner. This, again, is hurting ultras who, in their frustration, are acting in panic. The BJP and the Government, he added, are standing like a solid rock behind people of the UT, irrespective of region or religion and days ahead are going to be tough for militants and those who are sheilding or supporting them. |
