Pak violates ceasefire in Nowshera, India retaliates | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 12: Pakistan troops on Tuesday yet again violated the ceasefire by firing unprovoked along the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir. Indian troops retaliated effectively to the firing. Defence spokesperson here said that at about 1950 hours, Pakistan initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing with Small Arms along the LoC in Nowshera sector of District Poonch. “Indian Army retaliates befittingly to cross border firing,” he said. Pakistan troops on Monday and Sunday also violated the ceasefire by firing unprovoked in Mankote and Balakote sectors of Poonch district. Pakistan Army for the last one week continuously shelling forward posts of Indian Army and border villages in Poonch and Rajouri districts of Jammu and Kashmir. |
