Jammu, Sept 15: Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School- Jeevan Nagar, Jammu conducted an online “Inter School Symposium competition” for the students of Class 7th on the eve of Hindi Diwas. The theme of this Competition was to promote the use of Hindi as a “National Language”. In this Competition three Schools participated Shiksha Niketan Secondary School, Gandhi Nagar, R M Public School, Chowadhi, Shiksha Niketan Sr. Sec. School, Jeevan Nagar. One student from each school took part in this competition. The Competition was adjudged by MS. Satpal Kour, lecture in Hindi of Unique Public School, Miran-Sahib (R.S.Pura). The judgement was based on giving weightage to their Pronunciation, Presentation of the content and Body-Language of the speakers during the event. The main aim of the Competition was to show the significance and acknowledgement of Hindi as our National Language. It is one of the Twenty Two (22) Languages of the Republic of India. Hindi is given a lot of importance, especially in the Schools, Colleges and Universities where students participate in Academics, Cultural programmes, and other Literacy competitions.
