All Parents Association Jammu demands withdrawal of schools reopening order | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 21: All Parents Association Jammu has demanded that the government should withdraw its order of reopening of the schools with immediate effect. Addressing a press conference here today, president of the Association Amit Kapoor said that the way an undertaking in the shape of a form is being taken from parents means if in case anything happens to the child neither the government nor the school management will be responsible, responsibility will be of the parent/ guardian. He further said that in urban areas most of the parents are educated and they are refusing to sign the form while in rural area most of the parents are not well educated and most of them don’t even know English, using this helplessness of the parents school managements are taking the signatures of the parents on unfilled forms. Innocent parents don’t even know that by signing these forms they cannot make any claim on schools if any untoward incident happens, he added. Kapoor appealed to the parents not to fill or sign any kind of form given by the school because by signing these forms they are going to cut your hands and give it to the school managements also not to send their children to the school until a vaccine of coronavirus is readily available in the market. All Parents Association Jammu demands and appeals LG Manoj Sinha to waive off the admission fees of the colleges and withdraw the order of opening of the schools with immediate effect for the sake of innocent students and parents. |
