BJP organizes public meeting at Kumi | | | SAMBA, Sept 21: BJP leader and Working Committee member J&K (UT) Arun Sharma said that number of public welfare schemes aimed at benefiting the grass root level were left half way due to early fall of popular government in the erstwhile state of J&K. He was addressing a public meeting organized by local party activists including Chatter Singh, Tarlochan Singh, Ram Singh, Baldev Singh, Parkash Chand, Ashok Kumar, Chamel Singh, Dyal Singh etc. He said that Modi Government launches several schemes for benefiting the weaker sections and helpless people. Arun Sharma announced that our party will definitely come to power after forth coming assembly election which will be held after ongoing delimitation exercise. He said people are fully aware of the facts that multi-dimensional progress has been achieved during the shortest period of few years of BJP Government in J&K. He further said that some vested interests are exploiting people on regional and religious lines which hamper the development process badly. While highlighting several issues of the area, Sharma demanded construction of Saral to Kumi road and connectivity from Chilladanda to Kumi via Gujjar Nalli.
