| Director Horticulture inspects fruit Nurseries, plantations in Kathua | | |

JAMMU, Sept 22: Director Horticulture Jammu, Ram Savak today inspected Government Fruit Plant Nurseries and plantations during his tour to Kathua district. The Director also chaired a meeting of the officers to review the progress of various centrally sponsored schemes, as well as Capex Budget and the status of the physical achievements made thereof. During the tour in the Fruit Plant Nursery Barrel,, he took stock of the achievements made regarding the budding/grafting for the production of quality fruit plants at the Fruit nursery. Later, the Director, in the presence of BDC chairman and other PRI members, handed over the Keys of Tractor to Babu Ram and that of Power Tiller to Gian Chand – the beneficiaries under MIDH Scheme. The Director also visited Government Fruit Plant Nursery, Ludhwal and inspected the plantation done during the current season under different schemes at Mandli and Chhallein. The Director was accompanied by Chief Horticulture Officer Kathua, Sushil Kumar Angurana, DLSMSs and Horticulture Development Officers. |
