| Bootlegger arrested with 50 bottles of smuggled liquor | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Sept 22: Police here in Rajouri's Nowshera sub division arrested another bootlegger and recovered fifty bottles of smuggled liquor from his possession. Accused have been identified as Manoj Kumar son of Rajinder Kumar resident of Bagnoti village of Nowshera.
Police said that a team headed by SHO Nowshera Amit Singh under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera Zakir Shaheen Mirza intercepted the said person in Nowshera and recovered fifty bottles of liquor being smuggled from his possession.
Accused has been arrested and a case in FIR 183/20 under relevant sections of law under Excise Act have been registered in Police Station Nowshera.
Earlier on Monday, police also arrested a bootlegger in Nowshera area and recovered smuggled liquor from his possession. |
