Srinagar, Sept 23: Security forces on Wednesday launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) after some firing shots were heard in Pulwama town in south Kashmir, official sources said. Panic gripped the town after some firing shots were heard near fire station Pulwama. People ran helter-skelter after hearing the firing shots. Security forces and police personnel immediately rushed to the spot and sealed entire area to conduct CASO, the sources said, adding that further details are awaited.
