JAMMU, Sept 27: A meeting of the Kaith Biradari was held at Jhiri Ka Yard here today wherein, a Sankri Devasthan Development Committee was formed with Virendra Kaith as President; Daya Ram as Vice-President; Vijay Kumar as Secretary; Gharu Ram as Oragniser; Surinder Kumar as Treasurer; Raj Kumar Kaith, Gharu Ram-II and Bodh Raj as members.
The main objective of this Committee is to develop the Sankri Devasthans existing at various places in district Jammu.
An amount of Rs 90,352 was contributed during the meeting by the Kaith Biradari members for the purpose.
Prominent among others present on the occasion included R L Kaith, Ex Subedar Major Gunni Ram, Rashpal Ram, Adv Raj Kumar and Kamal Singh.
