Jammu, Oct 2: Tawi Trekkers J&K, the biggest trekking club of J&K, would now give more thrust to carry out reconnaissance of unfrequented and lesser known trekking areas of Jammu especially heritage sights during the coming winter months. It was announced by Shawetica Khajuria, General Secretary of the Club, while highlighting the detail of activities included in the revised Calendar of Activities of the Club for the remaining period of the current year, which was released in a simple function held at Sprawling Buds ICSE School, Bantalab, Jammu. The revision in the calendar was necessitated as the club could not organise most of its activities due to the impact of Covid 19. Co-Chairman of Tawi Trekkers J&K Zorawar Singh Jamwal who is also President of Mountaineering Association of J&K released the Calendar of Activities along with Advisor of the club Prof. Lalit Magotra, President Dogri Sanstha Jammu, Patron of the club Rahul Sharma, Chairman, Sprawling Buds ICSE School, Bantalab, Jammu; Ram Khajuria and Shawetica Khajuria, President & General Secretary of the club respectively, Vivek Chauhan, Principal, Oriental Academy Sr. Sec. School, Jammu; Mridhu Padha, Vice Principal St. Xavier Sr. Sec. School, Barnai, Jammu and Vice President of the club; Ramesh Khajuria, Director, Sprawling Buds School; Sumit Khajuria, Vice President Mountaineering Association of J&K and Amit Bajaj. |
