Jammu, Oct 2: Romesh Khajuria , BJP leader & Vice Chairman Wool & Woolen Export Promotion Council (WWEPC), Ministry Of Textiles, Govt. of India, Member National Working Committee Gau Parkaushat (MRM) and Seh-sanyoyak : Gau Parkaushat, Delhi Pardesh (MRM) today called on Dr. Narender Singh newly appointed national secretary of BJP . Khajuria congratulated Dr Narender Singh on being appointed as national secretary of BJP, both the leaders recalled some of their old memories of their student political days as they know each other since 1989 during their student life. Romesh Khajuria briefed to Dr. Narender singh about the role of WWEPC in export of woolens & other products comes under the purview of the council to the international market. Khajuria said that WWEPC also provides platform to new entrepreneurs for marketing their products in the international markets , more than 150 members from woolen industry of Jammu & Kashmir are participating in international trade fairs/BSMs/events conducted by WWEPC in various cities around the world since more than last two decades. Romesh Khajuria told that shawl & woolen industry is one of the biggest industries of Jammu & Kashmir and its products are quite famous in India and abroad, the J&K region has number of artisans, weavers & MSMEs engaged in manufacturing of wool & pashmina products like shawls, stoles, mufflers, scarves, caps, gloves, jackets and many other traditional wears and woolen fashion accessories. |
