10/11/2020 10:22:54 PM

Early Times Report

Anantnag, Oct 11: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) Vice President Sofi Yousf had finally filed a defamation suit against controversial X-Big Boss Contestant Swami Om after the latter leveled serious allegations of land grabbing, sexploitation and corruption.
“Yes, I have filed a defamation suit against this person called Swami Om as he has leveled baseless allegations against me,” Sofi Yousf, a former legislative council member, told Early Times.
Sofi said he has also filed defamation suit against three others who he said were acquaintances of Swami Om. He identified them as Rajiv Chandayel, Skinerdar Wani and Javed Quershi.
“This gang was looting people on the pretext of providing jobs to them here in Kashmir. Recently I exposed them and now they are maligning my image by leveling baseless allegations against me. If they have any proof they must share with the Hon’ble Court,” he said.
Earlier in the day, BJP District Unit Anantnag also condemned the X-Big Boss Contestant Swami Om and asked him to desist from interfering into the affairs of BJP in Kashmir.
“Unfortunately, a vicious campaign is going on against our leadership and BJP district unit in particular. We request this Sawmi Ji to share the proof that he has anything against our leaders,” BJP District President said while addressing a press conference in Anantnag on Sunday.
District Vice-President said that BJP Leader Sofi Yousf has laid numerous sacrifices for Bhartiya Janta Party. “I am going to file a complaint against this Baba at Sader Police Station as he has leveled baseless allegations against our leaders,” Lateef Ahmad Khan told reporters.
Earlier this week, Bigg Boss 10 contestant Swami Om leveled serious allegations against Sofi Yousf and Altaf Thakur.
“These leaders are indulging in sexploitation, filming BJP leaders and then blackmailing them,” controversial Swami Om can be heard saying in a video that has gone viral on social media sites.
He also accuses BJP leaders of grabbing land at Pahalgam and defaming Bhartiya Janta Party in Kashmir.
This isn’t for the first time that Ex Big Boss Contestant Swami Om has quoted a controversy.
On February 07, Swami Om was booked for molestation after he and his companion attempted to humiliate a lady by tearing her clothes apart at Rajghat area. He once said that Bollywood star Salman Khan is an ISI agent.
