Jammu, Oct 11: On the occasion of International Girl Child Day, a programme was organized by the members of NGO Jiyo Aur Jeene Do.
A discussion was held on various issues concerning girl child. “We must think why our daughters are not safe and such shameful incidents happen. All that is needed is to change our mindset and attitude towards girls. We see women achieving top positions in the society and this is possible only when girls are encouraged in families and society as well", President Tariq Shah said. Vice President Parveen Akhter, Ajab Khurana, Sanjay Surjeet , Aquib Ali, Akhter, Rashpal, Ejaz and others were present in the program.
