| BJP office bearers hold meeting | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 11: A meeting was organised by Bal Krishan Koul, UT Convener, Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) Weavers and Artisan Cell.
The meeting was attended by Executive members Vinod Koul , Jammu, Ravi Bhushan Sharma, Samba and RL Chowdhury, media in-charge.
Burning issues pertaining to the the Handloom n Handicrafts sector were discussed in lenth. It was felt that a meeting of all district conveners be called to chalk out the future course of action for implementation of welfare schemes, announced by G.O.I in favour of weavers and artisans.
The working of the concerned departments was felt very nagative as no progress in respect of development of the Handloom and Handicrafts sector is seen on ground.
Even the relief pakage announced by G.O.I in favour of the societies haa not been released aa yet by the department.
The unprofessional approach by the concerned departments has left the weavers and artisans in a bad shape.
