JAMMU, Oct 12: Shiv Sena Jammu and Kashmir unit held a protest demonstration against the statements made by National Conference President. Dr Farooq Abdullah over enacting of Article 370 in J&K with the help of China.
Dozens of party leaders and activists led party UT President, Manish Sahni raised slogans against NC party and Dr Farooq for slanderous remarks for the restoration of Article 370.
They said that the NC President Farooq on Sunday had said he wished that with China’s support, Article 370 of the Constitution, which conferred special status on Jammu and Kashmir, will be restored.
Sahni questioned the silence attained by the Prime Minister, Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah over the statements made by the NC Present. “Why are the PM Modi and HM Shah silent on the serious issue and haven’t uttered a single word about it,” Sahni said that primarily, the NC has played politics chanting the name of Pakistan; and now with the change in scenario NC leadership have plans to play duty politics chanting the name China. “Farooq has made the statements out of his frustration, as they have lost their significance in erstwhile state of J&K,” Sahni lambasted BJP J&K leadership for taping their mouths over the restoration of Statehood to J&K besides criticizing the BJP led Central Government for delaying in restoration of Statehood and resumption of democratic environment so that the actual cause of democracy would be strengthened from the grass root level.
