IIMC declares results of PG Diploma courses | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct, 21: In the results declared last evening at New Delhi, all fourteen students of Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Jammu campus, have passed in the examination of P.G. Diploma Course in English Journalism in first divisions. While Rashi Sharma ranked fifth at all India level, she was the topper in Jammu campus with 77.45 per cent marks followed by Prastav Kumar Mishra with 75.90 marks. The third position was bagged by Neha Suryavanshi with 75.75 marks. At the all India level , the topper was Priyanka Yadav from IIMC Dhenkanal Campus with 78.50 marks. Jammu Campus is performing excellent since its inception in 2012 securing first position three times at all India level. The position is further likely to be improved with the completion of the upcoming complex at Keran, Ban Talab, Jammu. The construction of full fledge complex, the foundation stone of which was laid by Prime Minister, is in progress and likely to be completed by the end of this financial year. The Regional Director of Jammu campus, Manohar Khajuria congratulated the students for their excellent performance in the final examinations despite Covid-19 pandemic. He also appreciated the efforts of the faculty members Dr. Anubhav Mathur, Sanjit Khajuria and Ravia Gupta in imparting high quality media education to the students drawn from various parts of the country. |
