Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 1: NGO 'Jiyo Aur Jeene Do' today paid tributes to the members of the Sikh family who were killed in the 1984 riots. "Today we pay tribute to the members of thousands of Sikh families whose killing started on this day of 1984.Thousands of the Sikh family members were massacred in the country. It started in many parts of the country. It is sheer humanity's grave. It is mere killing of humanity. Such incidents will always embarrass us. Such incidents are like bad spots for a civilized society. Thus the massacre of people belonging to any one class or community together are always shameful incidents of our society. Our organization prays to Almighty that such blasphemous incidents should never happen again in the society", Tariq Shah, president of NGO said. He further said that the NGO is about to organise the marriage of girls belonging to poor and needy families. Surjeet, Rajesh Kumar, Sham Sundar, Ajab Khurana, Rashpal Singh, Ali, Asiya and others were present in the occasion. |
