SAMBA, Nov 1: Continuing its drive against illegal mining and illegal transportation of construction material, Samba Police seized 05 vehicles including 02 Tippers and 03 Tractors, which were being used for illegal transportation of the construction material.
A Police team of PS Bari Brahmana while performing patrolling duty in its jurisdictional area, intercepted two Tractors bearing Regd. No. JK21D-5366 & JK21D-2666 for illegal transportation of construction material (Bajri). Police team of PP Mansar while performing routine vehicle checking at naka Mansar, intercepted two Dumpers bearing Regd. No. JK21D-6431 & JK21D-6157 for illegal transportation of construction material (Sand). Similarly in the jurisdictional area of PS Ramgarh, a Tractor bearing Regd. No. JK02D-6431 was intercepted near Kamore, Ramgarh for illegal transportation of construction material (Sand). All the 5 vehicles intercepted by Samba Police in the above mentioned incidents were seized on spot and cases entrusted to Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further action. |
