Terror Tunnels: Coward Pakistan uses rat-holes to target Jammu | | | Early Times Report jammu, Dec 4: Stooping to another low, the coward neighbor Pakistan has been banking on rat-hotel like terror tunnels to target the nationalist Jammu region. While recently, after 72-hours of searches, the BSF was able to detect terror tunnel used by four Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) Fidayeen to sneak into Indian territory from Samba sector, the underground routes have become a new concern for the government. After sneaking in through this tunnel, all the four Jaish terrorists, who were killed at the Nagrota toll post, taking advantage of darkness and thick elephant grass had managed to reach the roadside to board a truck already waiting for them. Officials sources said it was the ninth such terror tunnel discovered along the international border during the last few months. Earlier on August 28, 2020, a similar tunnel was found in Bain Galar area of Samba. Officials said that it was observed by the intelligence agencies that for the last few years, Samba and Hiranagar along International Border, both of which are close to the winter capital of Jammu, have been "favourite infiltration routes for Pakistan sponsored terrorists." Official sources said given the vigilance on the ground the Pakistan was now trying to hit Jammu through such "rat holes." "Coward Pakistan has reached its true position which is a rat hole and thus it is resorting to such sinister designs but all such moves will be foiled much the way it was done at the Nagrota Toll Plaza recently," said a senior official on the condition of anonymity. Sources said the nationalist sentiment of Jammu and the warm welcome of the abrogation of the special status by its people has frustrated Pakistan to level that now it wants to target the winter capital region in particular. It is pertinent to mention that Jammu has already been bearing the brunt of Pakistani aggression in the form of ceasefire violations. The tunnel conspiracy has only added to the concerns in the nationalist region. But the forces are prepared. "They (Pakistan) won't succeed in any of its designs because our forces are very well prepared," said a retired Army official. |
