| GDC Billawar organizes online events on "Human Rights Day" | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 11: NSS unit of GDC Billawar organized an intra-college on-line series of events "Human Rights Day" on 10th of Dec. 2020. In order to mark the Human Rights Day, students were urged to compete & showcase their talent in different activities including Poster making, Slogan writing and Essay writing on the theme "Recover Better-Stand Up For Human Rights" and it also focuses on the need to stay safe and positive in the pandemic times.
In slogan writing Shuvam Mankotia has secured first position, Kamini Devi has secured second position and Vinka Sharma has secured third position. In poster-making Kajal Devi, Sheetal Verma and Vinita Sharma has secured first, second and third position respectively. In essay writing competition Amisha Thakur, Shuvam Mankotia and Kajal Devi has secured first, second and third position. The different events were adjudged by Dr. Rajni Kumari, Prof Anil Verma and Prof. Sujata Thakur. All the events were organised by Prof. Yash Paul (NSS, PO), Mr. Ravi Kumar (PTI) and Dr. Shiv Kumar Khajuria.The whole programme was organised under the overall supervision of college Principal Prof. Sunil Uppal. |
