| AAP appeal for restoration of statehood | | |  early times report
JAMMU, Jan 23: Aam Aadmi Party Jammu and Kashmir Union territory has appealed to the Central Government to immediately restore Statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement here today, Gurmeet Singh, AAP leader urged to the centre govt to fulfil the promise they made on the floor of the House for restoring statehood to the Jammu and Kashmir.
People of Jammu Kashmir are highly dissatisfied with BJP and that is why people of Jammu Kashmir want statehood. On one side central government is committed to Statehood to J&K but on the other side LG led administration is changing laws and making amendments which is beyond their mandate shows clearly that GOI is not sincere to the people of J&K in granting statehood.
The Aam Aadmi Party will continue its struggle for the rights of the people of Jammu Kashmir and demanded restoration of statehood with full protection of Jobs and land rights, Gurmeet Singh said.
People's demands are not being heard of as there normal life has been hampered and they are run from pillar to post to get redressal of their grievances. Singh also demanded the Centre to restore 4G mobile Internet in Jammu Kashmir. |
