Red Cross society volunteers aware about AB- PMJAY | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Jan 24: Indian Red Cross society volunteers of Udhampur distributed pamphlets and posters to the general public to aware them about the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna (AB- PMJAY) SEHAT Schemes. Rakesh Singh, Red Cross Society volunteer said that district administration Udhampur is celebrating and organizing AB-PMJAY awareness and facilitation week from 21 Jan 2021 to aware and facilitate the general public to register themselves and their family members for this scheme in designated centers to avail the benefit of free health insurance coverage of Rs 5 lakh per family per year on floater basis. "All residents of J&K shall be covered under ABPM-JAY and ABPM - JAY SEHAT schemes and more than 23000 public, private hospitals empanelled across the country and there is no cap on family size or age" Singh added. Rakesh Singh while interacting with the public said that Ayushman Bharat Scheme is the world's largest health insurance plan and at present 6 lakh families of Jammu Kashmir are availing the benefit of free health insurance coverage under Ayushman Bharat scheme but after the implementation of Health plan more than 21 lakh families shall be covered under this scheme and get the same benefit. Free and cashless treatment in any public and private empanelled hospital across the country is provided under this scheme. |
