UDHAMPUR, Jan 24: Government Degree College (GDC), Chenani conducted the SWOT analysis of its students. As the full form of SWOT is Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threat, the importance of SWOT analysis for a student is that it helps one to achieve a clear picture of where he/she stands with respect to academics and general interests and helps to figure out the shortcomings and provide a clearer picture of goals. The programme was held under the aegis of its Career Counseling Cell, the main purpose of the activity was to compile and organize pros and cons of the system, structure, and strategy of everything involving or pertaining to student interests, habits, social scenes, and general commonalities. The College took the information regarding various aspects of the quadrant from the students on Google forms, compartmentalized it into four broad sections, which were later broken down and sectioned off. Dr Pragya Khanna, Principal of the College suggested that every student should be conscious of strengths and weaknesses to achieve goals timely and to seize the opportunities.
