Srinagar, Jan 25 : A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan, who was undergoing treatment at S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), died of heart attack in the summer capital, Srinagar, on Monday.
Official sources said that 50-year-old Sudhir Partihar of 86th battalion of CRPF, who was posted in central Kashmir district of Budgam, was undergoing treatment at SKIMS. “The jawan on Monday suffered a massive heart attack,” they said, adding that the doctors tried to revive him but he died.
They said after completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body will be sent to his native place.
