EARLY TIMES REPORT SRINAGAR, Jan 29: A member of District Development Council (DDC) in Srinagar joined Apni Party (AP) on Friday, a spokesman for the party claimed here. He said DDC member from Panzinara-A, Srinagar, Mohammad Yaseen Rather joined AP at its party office Srinagar. The newly-elected DDC member joined the AP along with his associates in presence of Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari and other senior leaders, spokesman said. Speaking on the occasion, Bukhari welcomed Rather into the Party-fold and asked him to work tirelessly for mitigation of sufferings of the people in his constituency. The new entrant pledged his full support to the party leadership in fulfillment of Party's socio-economic and political agenda which encompasses restoration of Statehood to J&K, equitable development of all the regions, besides, political empowerment of the people at the grassroots level. |
