JK reports 76 new positive cases, 121617 recovered so far

JAMMU, Jan 29: The Government on Friday informed that 76 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 16 from Jammu division and 60 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 124373. Also 01 COVID-19 death has been reported from Kashmir Division.
Moreover, 215 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 115 from Jammu Division and 100 from Kashmir Division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 124373 positive cases, 823 are Active Positive, 121617 have recovered and 1933 have died; 720 in Jammu division and 1213 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 4502603 test results available, 4378230 samples have been tested as negative till 29thJanuary, 2021.
Till date 1109248 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 34220 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 823 in isolation and 93960 in home surveillance. Besides, 978312 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup, the Bulletin said that Srinagar has 26158 positive cases (including 32 cases reported today) with 270 Active Positive, 25434 recovered (including 58 cases recovered today), 454 deaths; Baramulla has 8111 positive cases (including 10 cases reported today) with 44Active Positive, 7893 recovered (including 04 cases recovered today), 174 deaths; Budgam reported 7763 positive cases (including 05 cases reported today)with 41 active positive cases, 7605 recovered (including 07 cases recovered today), 117 deaths; Pulwama has 5710 positive cases with 57 Active Positive, 5565 recovered and 88 deaths; Kupwara has 5657 positive cases (including 07 cases reported today) with 35 Active Positive, 5527 recoveries (including 04 cases recovered today), 95 deaths; Anantnag district has 4896 positive cases (including 04 cases reported today)with 55 Active Positive, 4756 recovered (including 05 cases recovered today), 85 deaths; Bandipora has 4689 positive cases (including 01 cases reported today)with22 Active Positive and 4606 recoveries (including 01 cases recovered today), 61 deaths; Ganderbal has 4606 positive cases with 51 Active Positive, 4509 recoveries (including 10 cases recovered today)and 46deaths; Kulgam has 2693 positive cases (including 01 cases reported today)with 26 Active Positive, 2613 recoveries (including 02 cases recovered today)and 54 deaths while as Shopian has 2569 positive caseswith24 active positive cases, 2506 recoveries (including 09 cases recovered today) and 39 deaths.
Similarly, Jammu has 24949 positive cases (including 11 cases reported today) with 117 active positive cases, 24462 recoveries (including 48 cases recovered today), 370 deaths; Udhampur has 4200 positive cases (including 03 cases reported today) 26active positive cases, 4117 recovered (including 01 cases recovered today)and 57 deaths; Rajouri has 3868 positive cases with 05 active positive, 3808 recoveries and 55 deaths; Doda has 3428 positive caseswith 03 Active positive, 3364 recovered(including 03 cases recovered today) and 64 deaths; Kathua has 3254 positive cases with 03 active positive cases, 3199 recovered and 52 deaths; Kishtwar has 2731 positive cases with 01 Active Positive, 2708 recoveries;22 deaths; Samba has 2830 positive cases (including 01 cases reported today) with 14 active positive cases, 2776 recoveries (including 60 cases recovered today) and 40 deaths; Poonch has 2492 positive cases (including 01 cases reported today)with 25 active positive, 2443recoveries (including 03 cases recovered today) and 24 deaths; Ramban has 2131 positive caseswith02 active positive, 2108 recoveries and 21 deaths while Reasi has 1638 positive with 05 active positive cases, 1618 recoveries and 15 deaths.
According to the bulletin, among the total 124373 positive cases in J&K, 11655 have been reported as travelers while 112718 as others.
The government has also started free tele-consultation general OPD services by Specialists/MBBS Doctors for the residents of J&K under National Tele-consultation Service. People can avail these services from Home by registering online on web portal https://esanjeevaniopd.in/. The services are available on Monday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. People can also download and install esanjeevani OPD app from google play store.
