EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 1: A seven day-long Special Winter camp organized by the NSS unit of Government Degree College (GDC) R S Pura began today. The camp in which 35 volunteers are participating was inaugurated by lighting of the lamp by principal Dr Sunita Sudan. Prof Bindu Kumari, NSS Programme Officer, welcomed the Principal, Staff Secretary, Dr Rajinder Singh, NSS committee members and volunteers. On this occasion, NSS volunteers presented Saraswati Vandana and Shubam Choudhary, ex-NSS volunteer shared his experience with the present volunteers and motivated them to participate in such events enthusiastically. A cleanliness drive was also carried out in the college campus by the volunteers. Principal of the college congratulated the volunteers and NSS committee members and wished them good luck for their endevour. Vote of thanks was presented by Prof Sukhwinder Kour. |
