| Narwal Chowk renamed as Raja Mandlik Chowk | | |

Jammu, Feb 1: Former deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta on Monday unveiled the plaque renaming Narwal Chowk as Raja Mandlik Chowk, here near Radisson Blue Hotel. Addressing the gathering, he said that BJP’s first and foremost priority is to popularize the local heritage and culture. He said that Jammu is known as Temple City and its people are quite traditional therefore such endeavours will go a long way in ensuring that coming generations also remain abreast with the rich culture of this land of seers and saints. He made it clear that what BJP has in offing for the UT of J&K no other political party can even think of it as the leaders of those parties are only concerned about their personal gains and vested interests. He said that it is just the beginning as in coming time BJP will transform J&K into a model region which not only people of other states but those living abroad will also envy looking into development surpassing one and all.
