JAMMU, Feb 1: Chairman Trustee of J&K Dharmarth Trust Dr. Karan Singh Ji has appointed Ajay Gandotra, Advocate as President of J&K Dharmarth Trust. The newly appointed President has been felicitated by the prominent citizens of Jammu before assuming the office. The revered gathering was initially addressed by Secretary of the Trust, Dr. Gopal Parthasarthi and thereafter by Y.V. Sharma, Member Council. Ajay Gandotra expressed his gratitude towards the gathering present and assured that the prevailing issues of the employees of J&K Dharmarth Trust shall be addressed. He further added that the agitating employees would be invited for negotiations as well. While thanking the august gathering, Mr. Gandotra vividly explained that he would get courage to tackle the situation and for that, has been blessed by Hon’ble Chairman Trustee. He with emotions remembered his deceased father as well. While assuming the office, Pt. Darshan Sharma, Administrator Shree Raghunath Ji Temple and Pt. Subash Shastri garlanded the new President and recited Vedic Mantras. Prominent amongst present were Dharni Dhar, Ex President Sanatan Dharam Sabha, Surjeet Singh Manhas, Ex Chairman of Citizens Co-operative Bank and J&K Housing Federation, K.L Khajuria, Ex Commissioner JMC, Baldev Khullar, Bharat Choudhary, Brijesh Gupta, S. Harpal Singh and other prominent businessmen and office bearers from Raghunath Bazar Businessmen Association, Gumat Bazar, Karan Market, Hari Market, Trikuta Complex and other Businessmen Associations. Advocate Shah Mohd. Choudhary, Rameshwar Singh Jamwal and other prominent lawyers were also present. Senior functionaries of the Trust, Varinder Singh Jamwal, Additional Secretary, Joginder Paul Gupta, Chief Accounts Officer, S.P. Sharma, Land Revenue Officer actively participated in the event. |
