| Traffic police launches drive against modified silencers | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 1: A special drive was launched by Traffic City Jammu in South City under the directions of ADGP Traffic J&K T Namgyal and SSP Traffic Shiv Kumar Sharma. The drive was led by ASP Pardeep Singh, DySP Traffic South Sunil Singh along with DTI Bikram Chowk Insp Khushwant Singh & DTI Satwari Inspr Vikas Parihar. In total about 100 challans were made , including about 20 seizures of bullets with modified silencers. Public was also requested to avoid modification of silencers of motorcycles especially Bullets as they are causing nuisance in the society and are also causing many health hazards especially to senior citizens, pregnant women and children. Peoples were also aware about the Traffic Rules and advantages of wearing helmet/ seat belt.
Public mostly commuters were very happy and thanked traffic police personnel for making them aware about Motor Vehicle Act. |
