Decade old dead gas pipeline project for J&K revived by Modi Government: Sat | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 1: Former State President BJP and ex minister Sat Sharma hailed the Union Budget 2021 and thanked the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for reviving more than a decade old gas pipeline project for crores of residents of Jammu and Kashmir. He said this while addressing a public meeting at Ward 28, Bakshi Nagar area of Jammu West Assembly segment where many joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in presence of Former Minister. More than two dozen political and social activists with a pledge to “strengthen the hands of Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi for development of Jammu and Kashmir”, joined BJP with pomp and show. Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma expressed gratitude that after a long time the people of Jammu and Kashmir are reaping the benefits of good and equitable governance under the leadership of PM Modi. He said after a big announcement for the people of J&K in the Union Budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, more than a decade old Gas pipeline project for J&K which was ignored by Congress led UPA Government is now revived by the Modi Government. He said crores of people across J&K will get relief under the project. He stated that it’s a 750 kms long pipeline project which will start from Jammu and end at Srinagar. He also stated that from Bhatinda to Jammu and Jammu to Srinagar Gas pipeline project never made it to ground because of Congress’s poor governance. He also asked the new entrants to work for strengthening of organization at grass root level. |
