Miscreants throw explosive substance at New Jai Rajputana Stone Crusher
Owner demands probe, action against culprits

JAMMU, Apr 22: Some unknown persons on the night of April 15 threw a bomb like explosive substance in the workplace of New Jai Rajputana Stone Crusher due to which huge loss of expensive machinery costing about Rs 1.5 lakh was incurred.
This was stated by Raguvir Thakur, owner of the crusher in a press conference, here today. He was flanked by Arjun Wazir, a dumper owner and others.
Raguvir Thakur, son of Chain Singh, is a resident of Ward No 3 Katra and also owner of M/s New Jai Rajputana Stone Crusher which is situated at village Taraf Tajwal, Tehsil and District Kathua. Talking to reporters, Raguvir Thakur said, "We have registered a complaint that on April 15, 2021 at about 9:30 PM when all the workers and other staff of the crusher was indulged in the concerned work, three unknown persons came on a Scooty and threw an explosive substance like bomb in the workplace of the New Jai Rajputana Stone Crusher which is evident from the CCTV footage."
He added that with the blast of that explosive substance there is huge destruction in the building of the firm and also huge loss of some expensive machinery which costs about Rs 1.5 lakh.
Raguvir Thakur added that he along with his whole staff is in deep fear of their lives as that blast created a panic in their minds. "There is also CCTV footage of the same which can be provided to the authorities for the evidence and will also help in identifying the accused persons," he said, adding that the miscreants are wandering freely which create a sense of fear among him, his family as well as workers of the crusher. Thakur asked the government to provide protection to them till the miscreants will be arrested by police. He also requested SHO Kathua to lodge FIR and take action against the accused person.
He also appealed to Lt Governor, Director General of Police, DIG Kathua Range to intervene personally into the matter for free and transparent investigation as to how and from where the miscreants brought explosive material.
