Purnima notifies initiatives taken by Health department | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 10: Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor JMC today addressed a press conference regarding various initiatives that are being taken by Health department for the safety and welfare of general public. Deputy Mayor JMC notified the media present that many new steps have been taken up by the health department for the welfare of the public which she came to know yesterday while she had a meeting along with the Mayor and CMO Jammu, Dr. JP Singh. Deputy Mayor said that earlier the only triage centre was CD Hospital but now keeping in view the excessive load of patients, now Gandhi Nagar Hospital has also been made a Triage centre. She further informed that keeping in view the sudden rise in covid active cases, the number of Covid hospitals have also been increased by including Sub-District Hospital, Kot Balwal and Rajeev Gandhi Hospital, Gangyal as Covid Hospitals and 4 more private hospitals namely Matrika Hospital near Jodhamal School, Medicare near Akaaf Market, BN Hospital and SDDM Channi Himmat have been made 50% Covid Hospitals to provide better facilities to each patient and also to reduce the load of Covid patients on GMC. Deputy Mayor further informed that a website under the name e- Sanjeevni has been launched that general public can visit for any medical consultation from the concerned doctors by booking an appointment on the website itself. |
