Ritu Singh elected as Founding Chairperson of J&K Ladakh FICCI, FLO | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 24: The All India President of FICCI FLO, Ujjwala Singhania today announced the opening of its 18th Chapter, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh’ in an online Zoom ceremony. FLO Ex-President, Vinita Bimbhet and Ujjwala Singhania launched the chapter in the presence of All Past Presidents, the current Chairpersons of all 17 chapters across India and the presidium. Celebrated Sufi artiste Zila Khan was invited to grace the occasion with an enthralling virtual performance.. The event commenced with a welcome speech by Vinita wherein she highlighted how necessary it was for the women of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh to have a representation at FICCI FLO, and how this could open up numerous opportunities for young leaders looking to work towards turning their homeland into an exciting economic utopia. Ujjwala introduced the chairperson Ritu Singh as a magnanimous personality who has extensively and passionately worked for numerous social causes and has tremendous plans for this new chapter. Ritu in her acceptance speech as Founding Chairperson, shared her vision in these words, “We envision a future that will focus on sustainable empowerment for women through purposefully and strategically directed initiatives, which will optimize the spirit of Power to Empower reversing the self before service culture and unshackling barriers to open the gates for socio-economic activities.” All past presidents congratulated Ritu on taking over as the founding president of this glorious chapter as the entire FICCI Flo team welcomed all the new members and pledged to empower them with resources, guidance and moral support. Zila Khan presented a heart rending composition dedicated to the new FLO chapter Melodies like ‘chap tilak’ and ‘ lab pe aati hai dua’, transported everyone into a zone of serenity and divinity. |
