Early Times Report JAMMU, July 6: BJP Mandal Bishnah, under the chairmanship of its president Sushil Sharma, observed the birth anniversary of Jan Sangh founder Dr Shyama Prasad Mookerjee. Sushil Sharma along with Gagan Bhatia, his team members of Bishnah BJP Mandal, party workers and supporters paid floral tributes to Mookerjee. Speaking on the occasion, several speakers fondly remembered Mookerjee and highlighted his achievements. While appreciating innumerable works of Mookerjee, they said that he was the one who spearheaded the movement to abrogate Article 370, adding that his untiring efforts towards nation's unity and progress will always be remembered. Later, Sushil Sharma along with his team members went from village to village and planted trees. During the plantation drive, the members gave the slogan of 'Save the Environment' and appealed to people to plant more and more trees. State Executive Member Narayan Dutt, Municipal Committee Bishnah Chairman Rajan Sharma, Municipal Committee Bishanah Vice Chairman Ramesh Kumar, both General Secretaries of Mandal Bishnah Shri Surjit Singh Netaji, Sushil Kumar, City President of Mandal Sahil Gupta, IT Incharge Nitesh Jandial, State Vice President of Kisan Morcha Satish Bharti, District Samba in-charge of Kisan Morcha Chaudhary Bishan Singh, Kulbir Singh and several other party leaders and activists were present on the occasion. |
