| Absconder militant involved in murder case arrested after 13 years by Kishtwar police | | | Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, July 6: In a major success, Kishtwar police today arrested a militant wanted in 13 year old case for his involvement in an encounter at Kidroo Padder in which an army personnel got martyred.
As per the details available with Early Times, continuing its drive against absconder, Kishtwar Police have apprehended an absconder, (ex militant) who was evading arrest for the last 13 years.
The arrested accused, identified as Naeem Ahmed S/o Bashir Ahmed R/o Tattani Kishtwar was wanted in case FIR No. 02/2007 US 302/307/326/RPC 7/27 IA Act registered at PS Atholi.
An information was received through reliable sources and acting swiftly on this information, a special police team of PS Atholi was constituted. The team led by Inspr. Sohan Singh under supervission of SDPO Atholi Sh. Pardeep Sen raided the suspected locations and arrested the absconder from Shalimar area of kishtwar
