The delegation was led by Sanjeev Dutta and Jeevan Parkash, President and Secretary respectively.
The teachers welcomed the transfers of the teachers, who have been waiting for general Transfers of the teachers for the past 7 years. Teachers highlighted some cases where some teachers have completed over 10 years of stay but not transferred whereas some teachers were transferred within the same zones with less than 4 years of stay. They demanded Teachers transfers under order Number 861 of employees Transfer policy. Teachers said that most of the female teachers have been transferred again in hard zones whereas they have already served in hard areas for many years. They demanded involvement of ZEOs in the Annual Transfer Drive so that the real locations of the Schools be known to the Transfer Committee members for fare and suitable adjustments of the Teachers who have served in hard Zones. They also raised questions on the cases where some teachers have completed over seven years of tenure and had applied online for the transfers but denied transfers. Chief Education Officer Poonch Majid Hussain listened to the deputation patiently and assured that he would personally review the transfer list and most of the genuine cases would be considered suitable.
