| GDC Thannamandi organizes poster making, slogan writing competition | | |

RAJOURI, July 6: Road Safety Club of Govt. Degree College, Thannamandi organized a poster making and slogan writing competition on the theme "Sadak Suraksha-Jeevan Raksha". The purpose of organizing this event was to highlight the importance of road safety and to aware the young generation especially college students to strictly follow the traffic rules while driving. This awareness activity has great importance in lowering the number of accidents and thus we can save many precious lives in our daily life.
The entire programme was conducted under the guidance and supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Javaid Ahmed Qazi Principal of the college. Large number of students participated in this event by presenting beautiful ideas in slogans and also prepared meaningful posters. The posters were judged by a team comprises Prof. Fatima Bi, Dr. Altaf Ahmed and Prof Ajaz Nazir. The first position was secured by Seerat Fatima second position was shared by Asia Malik & Rebab Javaid and third position was secured by Faizan Nazir. The participants who secured top three positions were awarded with the E-certificates which were sent online.
Prof. (Dr.) Javaid Ahmed Qazi appreciated the efforts of Prof. Muhammad Shoket Convener Road Safety Club and other committee members who were involved in this event and made it successful. |
