SCC beats ACC to enter semis of 1st Happy Memorial Cricket Tournament

JAMMU, July 6: Singh Cricket Club today beat Akhnoor Cricket Club in a match of 1st Happy Memorial Cricket Tournament at Government Higher Secondary School Akhnoor. Tournament is organized by Ravi Verma and Aryan Gupta under overall supervision of Kr Sham Singh Langeh (General Secretary District Jammu JKCA).
Earlier SCC won the toss and elected to bat first while batting first ACC scored 129/8 in 20 overs. Deepak Sharma 46, Dinesh Mahajan 25, Vinay Singh 25 were top scorers from ACC and among SCC S.S. Langeh, Sunil Pandit and Binny shared 2 wickets each whereas Robin and Sunil got 1 wicket each.
SCC while chasing the target managed to score 130/6 in 18.4 overs with major contributions of Abhi Verma 30, Sunil Bendy 20, Robbin Verma 21 and from ACC Dinesh got 3 wickets while Nishant got 2 and Manish got 1 wicket. Vikas Bali and Stiphen were umpires of the match where as Vasu and Manav Mehta were scorers.
