| Ultra high density mango plantation discussed | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 6: Daljit Singh Chib, Ex Vice Chairman J&K State Advisory Board for Development of Kisans met DLSMS Pomology Dr Sandeep Gupta and HDO Khour Dr Amit Saraf to discuss the various horticultural activities being carried out in Khour and Akhnoor block especially the ultra high density plantation of mango cultivars viz Alphonso and Kesar.
DLSMS also appraised him of the custom hiring centres being established by the beneficiaries with the assistance of department of horticulture at Akhnoor block so that farmers can hire the farm machinery from these centres at cheaper rates.
Daljit Singh appreciated the efforts being put in by the officers and officials of the horticulture department Jammu in fulfilling the dream of doubting the income of the farmers. |
