RAMBAN, July 9: Motor Vehicle Department, Ramban has intensified drive to check violation of traffic rules and Covid protocols by the passenger vehicle operators. The enforcement team led by Assistant Regional Transport Officer, Ramban, Shafqat Majid today conducted a massive checking drive and seized 4 vehicles including two Mini Buses and two Magic Autos, besides booking many drivers under Motor Vehicles Act on Ramban-Batote route.
The team also recovered Rs. 4500 fine from passenger vehicles for overloading, overcharging and violation of various extant rules of Motor Vehicles Act. |
