| SDM Gandoh seizes 2 trolleys carrying illegally extracted minor minerals | | |  Early Times Report
DODA, July 11: Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Gandoh, Dr Pritam Lal Thapa, today seized two tractor trolleys loaded with illegally extracted minor minerals in the Bhargi area. During a surprise inspection, the SDM found two Tractor Trolleys bearing registration number JK06A-5953 and JK06A-7378 extracting and carrying minor minerals from the river opposite the PWD office Gandoh. In inquiry, it was found that none of them had any permission from the Mining Department to extract the mineral. Naib Tehsildar, Gandoh was directed to handover both the Trolleys to Police Station Gandoh. The District Mineral Officer Doda was asked to visit the Police Station Gandoh and get both Trolleys seized under the mines and minerals (Development and Regulation) Act 1957 and SRO-105. |
