NCC SW of GGM Science College celebrates world population day | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 11: To commemorate coming monumental occasion of 75th Anniversary of Indian Independence under "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav", NCC senior wing of GGM Science College, Jammu organised an online "Flow Chart Making" event on World Population Day. The theme "Rights and Choices are the answer: Whether Baby Boom or Bust, the solution to shifting fertility rates lies in prioritizing the reproductive health and rights of all people". The event was organised under the patronage of principal of the college, Dr. Ravender Tickoo with the supervision of Associate NCC Officer Dr. (Capt.) Anjana Sharma, Department of Computer Science, GGM Science College. World Population Day focuses on the importance and urgency of population control and is observed on July 11th across the world to raise awareness about the reproductive health needs and susceptibilities of women. The day focuses on the importance and urgency of population control to highlight the growing problems that come with a growing global population. Awareness about the effects of overpopulation on development and nature is emphasized specifically in the flow charts made by more than twenty NCC SW cadets. To make the society aware of these factors, the cadets made expressive and self explanatory flow charts. The principal appreciated the efforts by the ANO and the SW cadets in flow charts.
