| Civil Defence organizes awareness programme | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 13: Civil Defence Jammu today organized a one day awareness programme at Halqa Panchayat Nagrota.
The programme was held under the supervision of Naseema Akhter Dy.SP. I/C Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu and Chief warden Civil Defence Jammu.
In the awareness camp civilians of the area were sensitized about first aid and fire fighting (CPR, Chocking, and Emergency Methods).
Speaking on the occasion, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu highlights the importance and role of Civil Defence in the human life and also stressed upon the motto of the Civil Defence i.e, selfless services of C. D Volunteer to the nation as and when it needs. She also highlighted the role played by CD wardens/ volunteers during the COVID-19.
During the awareness program CD Certificates duly signed by DIG of Police Hg/CD/SDRF Jammu were distributed among the CD volunteers who have undergone 05 days CD basic training at Nagrota.
Apart from Civil Defence Instructors/officials of RCDCC, Dy. Divisional warden R. Vijay Mangotra, Surpanch Nagarota Halqa Nagrota Kishore Sharma and Panch Amit Singh were also present on the occasion. |
