Kashmiri migrants call on AERO for resolving their issues | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 14: Kashmiri Migrants called on Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (AERO) for resolving of genuine issues of migrant voters on priority. According to press release a delegation of Kashmiri Migrants led by its president Er. Ramesh Chander Mahajan and called on Assistant Commissioner (Relief) (AERO) Assistant electoral registration Officer Relief organisation (M) at canal road Jammu and apprised him and submitted a memorandum, during the discussion with officer, the officer patiently heard these grievances for appropriate action. They said that during this process of on spot district wise of Kashmir valley for uploading of images of non images migrants voters with the lack of public awareness and short time period does suffice their purpose, large number of eligible voters were left out, missed and deprived in the special camp organised in migrants zone offices of Jammu and Udhampur for inclusion, Correction in EPIC, and other rectification of voters details on spot district wise updating of electoral process. They also appealed the Election department for extension of time period of on-spot updating for two week and also these on spot camp organising should be continued in future with proper awareness in masses in all migrant zone offices all over India and so that eligible voters may not be deprived of their franchise to avoid any inconvenience in future and to ensure that maximum participation should be there in remaining and upcoming district wise of Kashmir valley for updation and other electoral process at grass root level until maximum voters are satisfied with enrolment so that the maximum voter strength with 100% participation of all migrants be ensured for choose their representatives accordingly in upcoming elections. |
