Directs concerned to expedite pace of developmental works
DC Kishtwar visits far off areas of Paddar

KISHTWAR, July 14: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma today visited far off places of Sub-Division Paddar and took first hand appraisal of the pace of various developmental works.
He was accompanied by DFO Sub Division, Kishtwar Sagar Singh, SDM Paddar Varunjeet Singh Charak, besides the concerned officers of GREF.
During his visit, the DC inspected Garhar-Sansari road and was apprised about various bottlenecks hampering the construction of road form 62 km to 71.425 km stretch.
He directed the DFO and the Commanding officer GREF to work in tandem to resolve the encumbrances pertaining to the Forest clearances on immediate basis to facilitate completion of the work on the strategic road in the stipulated time.
Later, the DC visited the TRC building at Gulabgarh and reviewed the status of the interior works.
He directed SDM Paddar to expedite the pace of work to make it functional for tourists and pilgrims before the upcoming yatra season.
During his visit to the under-constructed 50 bedded SDH Atholi Paddar, he directed the concerned executing agencies to pace up the speed of construction without compromising the quality of work.
He said that the hospital building is going to cater to the needs of people of the widespread area of Paddar besides augmenting the Healthcare Infrastructure in the Sub-Division.
En-route, the DC met with several delegations of the people and listened to their demands and grievances.
He assured them that their genuine demands will be redressed in a time bound manner.
