SAMBA, July 14: Government Degree College, Purmandal organised an online workshop on "Psycho-Social support for Covid Pandemic situation" (Covid Helper's skill for student community).
The workshop has been conducted under the supervision of college Principal, Prof. Seema Mir, in collaboration with Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education (MGNCRE), Department of Higher Education under the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. The resource person of the workshop, Kiran Chandel (MGNCRE) interacted with the faculty and students of the college.
The two hours workshop oriented students on providing information and Psychological support for covid victims. She also provided the students, the line of action and framework under which students need to work. The whole programme was co-ordinated by Prof. Nirlape Kour (HOD, Political Science) and organised by Prof. Shahima Akhter (HOD, Environmental Sciences). The technical support was provided by Mr. Akshay (Computer operator of the college). |
