Cultural Wing of DIPR Jammu organises webinar on CAB

JAMMU, July 14: Cultural wing of Department of Information and Public Relation (DIPR), Jammu in collaboration with Atkhar Public High Secondary School, Sartingal Bhaderwah, Doda today organized an awareness programme on Covid Appropriate Behaviour.
Chairman of the school, Sudesh Manhas was the chief guest and Parul Khajuria, Cultural Officer DIPR, Jammu was guest of honour of the programme.
Coordinator from the school Adil Farooq besides Nazim Tariq, Arif Naik and Nahira Shameem participated in the programme as Judges.
In all, 10 students participated in the awareness programme and spoke on the topic. Balkis Ara got 1st, Israar-ul-Haq got 2nd and Shagun Manhas & Anmol Manhas shared 3rd position in the event while Ulfat Fatima and Diksha Devi were selected for the consolation prizes.
Artists of Cultural Wing of DIPR Jmu viz Banti Shah and Mohinder Panchairvi, supported by Drama Instructor, Vijay Anand, presented songs and jingles on Covid Appropriate Behaviour.
Chairman of the School, Sudesh Manhas appreciated the Cultural Wing of DIPR Jmu to organize such programmes and also thanked the participants for spreading awareness on Covid Appropriate Behaviour. He also appreciated the steps taken by the Information Department and hoped that it will organize more awareness programmes to educate the masses on the topic.
Cultural Officer Jammu, Parul Khajuria highlighted the measures taken by the department to educate the people about government schemes and policies meant for their welfare. She advised the participants to follow all guidelines of the health authorities for prevention of Covid 19 pandemic.
